Herbalife Preferred Member Benefits (Retired July 2026)

The US Preferred Member program closed on July 20, 2026. Its Bronze 20%, Silver 30% and Gold 40% tiers no longer exist, and the $34.95 enrollment fee is no longer charged. Herbalife replaced it with Herbalife Wellness Rewards: a free Loyalty Member tier plus an optional Wellness VIP membership at $19.95 a year, discounting 15-35%.

Migration was automatic — no one had to re-enroll, and transitioning members received bonus Rewards Points. Bronze members came out ahead, moving from 20% to 25%. Former Gold members came out 5 points lower, at 35%.

Questions About the Preferred Member Change

Herbalife discontinued the US Preferred Member program on July 20, 2026 and replaced it with Herbalife Wellness Rewards. Wellness Rewards has a free Loyalty Member tier plus an optional paid Wellness VIP membership at $19.95 per year. Existing members were moved over automatically: Bronze Preferred Members became Wellness VIP Silver, and Silver and Gold Preferred Members became Wellness VIP Gold.

Cancelling VIP drops you to the free Loyalty Member tier, where you keep Rewards Points but lose the product discount.
Herbalife Wellness VIP members buy products at a 15% to 35% discount for personal use, with no selling involved. Independent Distributors buy at a discount and may also sell products and earn commissions, which brings additional paperwork and compliance obligations.
